Cooking with Jardin-Salad Caprese
Ingredients:
1 lb fresh mozzarella cheese (packaged in water)
3 vine ripened tomatoes
2-3 oz of fresh basil
1/4 C olive oil
1/2 C Balsamic vinegar
sea salt to taste
black pepper to taste

italian herb mixture
fresh greens salad mixture
crusty bread of choice such as French Baguette sliced and toasted
Instructions:
Toast bread and set aside.Slice tomatoes crosswise. Arrange on plate the toasted bread, tomatoes, mozzarella and basil. Salt and pepper to taste and drizzle oil and vinegar over the top.
(Jardin used the oil vinegar mixture with Italian herbs in it to drizzle over open faced sandwiches)
