Meghan Kalkstein is a reporter. She came here after working as an 11:00 P.M. anchor at one of our Fisher affiliates, where she wore many different hats: anchor, reporter, videographer, and producer.

Before coming to Oregon, Meghan got her Master's Degree in Broadcast Journalism at Boston University. There she interned with CBS during the Democratic National Convention and at New England Cable News. She got her Bachelor's Degree in Communications at the University of California at Davis. While getting her degree at Davis, Meghan anchored the UC Davis News program, and also interned for KCRA in Sacramento.

Meghan was born in Oakland, California, and loves the outdoors and
natural beauty of Oregon. She used to play competitive soccer and continues to pursue her love for sports and for exercise.

When Meghan's not busy looking for a news story, she works out, reads, and spends time with her family, friends, and her cat "Achilles."
