Kristina Nelson

Kristina Nelson joined the KCBY news team in April 2007 as a reporter/anchor.

A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Kristina graduated from the University of Southern California in 2006 where she received a B.A. in Communication from the Annenberg School of Communication.

While at USC, Kristina took on many internships in various newsrooms including FOX 11 and KNBC-TV in Los Angeles, KTVU and KPIX in San Francisco and the Los Angeles Bureau of Good Morning America.

In addition to her internships, Kristina also worked in the sports department for ATVN, USC’s student run broadcast news program. She was also a member of the USC Women’s Water Polo team that in 2004 won the NCAA Division 1 National Championship.

When she isn’t working, Kristina loves to go out with friends, shop, ride ATV’s on the dunes, travel the world and of course root for her USC Trojans.
