REGISTER NOW: Nutrition Workshop for Foodies or Health Professionals
This is a daily event, running from July 17, 2013 through July 31, 2013.
Course will be presented over 2 consecutive days on August 12th & 13th at the SOCC campus in Brookings. The 9 to 5 format is fast-paced but provides the independent learner opportunity to prepare coursework afterwards at his/her leisure using the accompanying training manual. Students will learn how foods impact our health, with strategies to prevent and reverse many of today’s chronic diseases. The training also includes food safety and the Oregon State Food Hander certification. 10 continuing education units can be awarded for completion of post-course assignments for those needing professional development credits.
Course fee is $65.00 and pre-registration is required. Pay once and refresh annually for free (training is offered in both Coos and Curry counties).
