Booklovers listen up! The Florence Festival of Books is taking place in Florence on the last Saturday of September. The Florence Festival of Books is a book fair with both authors and publishers participating. Expect to see more than 70 authors and 10 publishers from all over Oregon and some from surrounding states. The FFOB is open to the public free of charge. It takes place September 28, from 10 a.m.– 4 p.m. Just one day! It's held at the Florence Events Center (715 Quince Street), Florence. This is your chance to have books you buy signed by the authors, and if you have a manuscript, this is your chance to speak one on one with a publisher. The event is indoors with food and beverages available and live piano music. Don't miss the Florence Festival of Books.
