Many of our community members are saying, “What can I do?” or “It doesn’t affect my life” The violence affects EVERYONE. We can all do so much by creating a better awareness through further education, this gives us strength and understanding. The more we all understand Domestic Violence, the sooner we can take a stand against it. How does it affect a victim/survivor, the abuser, the children and our community! How is our community supporting all of this?

The Women’s Safety & Resource Center and the Southwestern Oregon Community College is offering a FREE Community Educational Series. If you want college credits, college fees will apply.. Beginning Thursday, April 3, 2014 and continuing for ten (10) consecutive weeks. These Classes are to located at the Southwestern Community College, Stensland Hall Room #204.. Classes begin at 6 pm and end at 8:50pm. The series covers a variety of topics presented by qualified instructors from many agencies throughout our community.
