Event Description

As a part of its recent promotions of the arts, CDABA, together with Tom Taraba, will be offering free art classes each Thursday evening, starting January 7th. The art classes will be held from 5-7 pm and will be held at the Reedsport Natural Food Store, located at 1891 Winchester Avenue (Highway 101).

Tom Taraba, who himself is an artist, will be leading the classes and plans to design the classes around the interest and skill levels of the students. Everyone is encourage to attend---from those who are just beginning to explore the artist in themselves, to those who have developed their art skills and are just looking for a place to work on their pieces in the company of fellow artists. Tom said that he sees these art classes as “a time when artist can benefit from a little instruction or just get motivation from others.”

The art classes will be held each Thursday evening at the Reedsport Natural Food Store. Anyone interested in learning more information should stop by and see Tom and get some guidance on what tools or inspiration to bring along to class or call Tom at 319-0089.
