Cooking with Jardin- Turkey Fennel Sausage
Turkey Sausage with Fennel & Italian Spices
Ingredients: 1 pound ground turkey 1 cup fresh finely diced fennel 1 tbsp Italian spices 1/2 cup bread crumbs 1 egg 1/4 tsp. dried red chili pepper or 2 tbsp Pili-Pili Pepper Relish
Instructions: In a large bowl mix together turkey, garlic, fennel, bread crumbs, egg and spices. Adjust taste with salt and peppers or Pili Pili Pepper Relish. (Cook a small piece to taste the seasoning to your liking). Let mixture sit 15 minutes allowing flavors to combine. Shape into meatballs (or patties or links) and place on a baking sheet. bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes-just long enought to cook through. Let cool and refrigerate or freeze until you need to use.
