Melissa is a 15 year old teenage girl with long brown hair and big brown eyes.

Melisa is bright, loves to shop, talk on the phone, go to the movies and roller skate.

She helps her foster mom around the house, especially in the kitchen where her specialty is desserts.

Melissa has a communication disorder that affects her abilities to develop appropriate social skills.

She's working on it but needs an adoptive family which will help her work on this area and support her.

She would do well with a couple or single mom where she's the only child or the youngest of older teenage children.

She wants to continue to have contact with grandparents and a baby sister.
