Heart Gallery - Wesley, Alyssa and Tony

This morning's Heart Gallery children are three siblings anxious to put their past behind them... And start fresh, together. I'd like to introduce you to Wesley, Alyssa and Tony.

Singing-

("Ring a round a rosie....pocket full of posie...")

These three just can't seem to have too much fun. We met up for a little playtime. Big brother Wesley is 8, Alyssa is 6 and little brother Tony is 4. When they get together they really have fun....and staying together is a top priority.

("They're really excited about living together and being adopted.")

Wesley loves sports and with all his energy, he just needs a little coaching to put it all together.

("You're going to get it, you are! laugh),"

For gifts, the children all received new bouncy balls. We figured out a game we could *all* play with the new toys....4-square!

And, everyone got it....even little Tony! Despite everything these children have been through, they are happy, and seemingly well-adjusted....and the older two are good students!

("They're developmentally on target, they are above grade level...alyssa and Wesley are really big readers. They love to read. Tonty is going into kindergarten....he was in Head Start last year, so he's ready.")

As you can see, these children have a lot of energy....the family that adopts them will have to be able to keep up with them and direct that energy.

Lara thinks a family with older children or no other children in the home would be best for these kiddos to excel. Also, a family that is open to visits with extended family, at least in the near future, would probably help ease the transition.
