It was just a drill

NORTH BEND, Ore. -- All of the commotion at the airport Wednesday evening was just a drill.
The Coos County Airport District, North Bend Police, and Bay Area Hospital held a plane crash simulation to practice for the real deal.
50 volunteers were covered in fake blood and injuries, and a school bus substituted for an airplane.
Each year, the airport is required to hold a disaster drill or a roundtable, but this one was much bigger.
After the tsunami scare last year, organizers say they wanted to make the drill as realistic as possible.
