NB murder suspect arrested and arraigned
COQUILLE, Ore.-- In the past 24 hours, Coos County law enforcement have arrested and arraigned the man they believe is responsible for killing a man in a North Bend motel earier this week.

According to Coos County District Attorney R. Paul Frasier, Ronald W. Ambill, 47, turned himself in to the Lincoln County Jail Wednesday afternoon.

Ambill was being sought after by police after he appeared in security camera video with David Barker, 60, who was found dead at the Itty Bitty Inn on Tuesday morning by a housekeeper.

Frasier said in a press release that authorities travelled up to Newport to get Ambill and bring him back to Coos County.

According to Coos County court documents, Ambill was arraigned on murder charges this morning, and he also recieved a public defender to assist him in his legal defense.

Frasier is charging Ambill with murder charges, and he is expected back in court the morning of July 26th for a preliminary hearing.

Ambill's bail has been set at $2 million.
