CURRY COUNTY, Ore.-- The search for a missing Coos Bay man has been called off, but he is still considered to be missing.
Curry County sheriff's deputies say Bobby Dan Johnson was reported missing near Sixes River Campgound after Johnson's family said he failed to show up for a family event.
Search and rescue personnel looked for Johnson, but they have been unsuccessful so far.
The Curry County Sheriff's Office says they have suspended the search after someone reported seeing a man that matches Johnson's description getting into a pickup truck and driving towards Highway 101.
Johnson is still considered a missing person.
He is 6'1, 180 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes.
