Coquille woman arrested for stealing large farm equipment
COQUILLE, Ore.-- A Coquille woman is arrested after Coos County law enforcement officers say she committed several thefts from a ranch north of Coquille.

According to the Coos County Sheriff's Department, 36-year-old Coquille resident Giget Bowen allegedly stole a pickup truck, a four wheeler, multiple items of farm equipment and horse track from a 66-year-old woman's ranch in Coaledo, just north of Coquille.

The woman told Coos County law enforcement that Bowen, a former ranch employee was believed to have been involved in the thefts.

Sheriff's deputies arrested Bowen on an outstanding warrant for theft out of California, and they are linking her to the farm and vehicle equipment thefts.

In Coos County, she now faces new charges of unauthorized use a of motor vehicle and theft I.

Bown was taken to the Coos County jail where it is believed she will be extradited to California to face her outstanding warrant before she is brought back to Coos County to face her new charges.

The Coos County incident is still under investigation.
