Dogs have their day at the Pony Village Mall
Furry pets and fashion came together once again in North Bend, as the 3rd Annual Rescues and Runways wowed the crowd outside Maurice's in the Pony Village Mall over the weekend.
Local models hit the runway in Fall fashion, clothing and accessories, from the national retail chain store, but they had one accessory you don't usually see at Maurice's...dogs from the Coos County Animal Shelter.
The canines got the chance to strut their stuff as well, as they tried to find a new home.
"Rescues and Runways" is a national campaign to raise funds and awareness for local animal shelters.
Officials with the Coos County Animal Shelter say it has been very successful since it began three years ago.
