Students learn valuable skills in Marshfield career programs
By Kristina Nelson
COOS BAY - For many students, when they leave high school they don't know what they want to do, but for a select few at Marshfield, a special set of programs is providing them with the skills they need to be prepared for the real world.
On Thursday evening, students from the Career and Technical Education Programs at Marshfield held their first annual open house. From working for the on-campus radio station to metal work to early childhood education, the seven areas of study within the CTE program provide students with a hands-on learning experience. The CTE program runs out of both Marshfield and the Harding Learning Center campuses. |
