Mill Casino Hotel celebrates grand opening of new hotel tower

NORTH BEND - It's been two years in the making as piece by piece, the newest addition to the Mill Casino Hotel has been built right before our eyes.
And on Thursday night, a grand opening gala marked the culmination of all the hard work. The new seven story, 92 room hotel tower is now complete and open for business, and local dignitaries, city leaders and the public came to celebrate with a ribbon cutting, grand tour and dinner. CEDCO C.E.O. Brady Scott says concerns about gas prices and tourists coming to the South Coast and using the new hotel did cross his mind, but, that quickly changed when he heard they were completely sold out for the fourth of July weekend. He adds the support from the community has made a huge difference in the success of the new addition. The tower already had a few rooms booked for opening night, and the six meeting rooms are already being used as well. |
