NORTH BEND - Sharing a bit of their culture with the local community, the Coquille Indian Tribe hosts their Fifth Annual Mill-Luck Salmon Celebration at the Mill Casino-Hotel over the weekend.

Over 1,500 people turned out over the course of the weekend to take part in the many activities.

Event goers were able to enjoy traditional Native American dancing and music, followed by canoe races out on the bay and a traditional salmon bake.

Coquille Indian Tribe member Jason Younker, says tribal gatherings like this vary from tribe to tribe, and represent who they are as a people.

Younker says this year's celebration was the biggest yet.
