NORTH BEND, Ore. - Democrats from all over Coos County turned up the Coos County Democrat Headquarters at the Pony Village Mall Tuesday night to watch the historic election and catch up on some races a little closer to home.

It was practically standing room only at the headquarters as folks came out to watch the presidential race on T.V.

Local Democrats running for various offices also came out to talk with voters.

KCBY caught up with incumbent District Nine State Representative Arnie Roblan to get his take on the election.

"It's been enjoyable getting out and talking to lots of people. And, making sure that people understand that for me, the big thing is the economy. How do we make this place the place it was when I first came here," says Roblan.

Roblan, who ran against Republican Al Pearn, says throughout the race, most voters expressed their concern with the local economy and senior issues.

Too things he would hope to tackle next term.
