COOS BAY, Ore. - Turning the Egyptian Theater into a big band swing hall, folks packed the venue on Saturday night to hear the upbeat

The lower and upper balconies of the theater were almost full for the benefit concert.

The show was a collaboration between 18 year-old Aaron Johnson on the clarinet and the It's About Time Big Band, who together played a variety of Benny Goodman music.

Johnson is an avid Goodman fan and has been following his music from a very early age.

Goodman was known as the "King of Swing" who had many popular hits during the 1930s.

The proceeds from this concert will go to benefit the restoration of the Egyptian Theater.
