NORTH BEND, Ore. - If you can't get out to see Santa this weekend, don't worry there's still a way to tell the big guy what you want this year, all you have to do it pick up the phone.

For the second year in a row, Santa, Mrs. Claus and a few elves, will be taking calls for one night only, this Wednesday, December 2.

Santa's helpers from the Tioga Chapter of the Oregon Hunters Association will be manning the phones here locally, at the North Bend Umpqua Bank Branch.

Any child is welcome to call the toll free line, to tell Santa and his helpers what they want this year.

"It gets them fired up, it really gets kids fired up. You can hear when they first talk to you and by the time they get off they're really pumped up. So, it really makes a difference with them. It's just an exciting time of year for little kids," says Santa's Helper Ken Bastendorff.

Again kids can call and talk to Santa from 6-8 pm this coming Wednesday, December 2.

The phone number to call is 756-2012.
