PORTLAND, Ore. – If he survived three seasons with Isaiah Rider, maybe he can survive three months on a deserted island.

Former Portland Trail Blazers star Cliff Robinson will be part of the cast when the 28th season of CBS’ Survivor premieres on Wednesday, Feb. 26.

Robinson played 18 seasons in the NBA, including eight with the Blazers.

The cast will feature three teams – Brawns, Beauty and Brains. Robinson will be on the Brawn team.

Robinson played 1,380 games in the NBA, averaging 14.2 points and 4.6 rebounds. “Uncle Cliffy” helped the Blazers to the NBA Finals in 1990 and 1992, and they made the playoffs every year he was on the team.

Baseball’s Jeff Kent and NFL coach Jimmy Johnson have also been on the show.
