Classic cars cruz Coos Bay
COOS BAY, Ore. - The largest rolling car show on the coast, rolled into town Saturday night for the 24th Annual Cruz the Coos.

More than 400 cars revved their engines, honked their horns and sped out along the streets of Downtown Coos Bay, as curbside onlookers picked out their favorites. Not telling by their condition, no car or truck was newer than a 1972.

Sunday, car lovers got an up close view of their favorites from the night before, at the Sunset Chevy's, "Show and Shine." Some even took tips for next years event.

"We have some other cars we're building, so it's good to look at everyone else's cars and get ideas and mix things around and put our own touch on the other cars coming out of the shop," said Lawrence Burns, of Eugene.

Organizers called this years Cruz another success, and it won't be long before they start preparing for next years.
