NORTH BEND, Ore. - The Wal-Mart owned pharmacy inside the North Bend Medical Center will be shutting its doors and transferring all prescriptions to Coos Bay come the new year.

Employees found out last week that Wal-Mart chose not to renew their lease with the medical center, leaving them with some unanswered questions.

Attempts to contact Wal-Mart for a response to the move have been unanswered.

Employees are concerned transferring to the pharmacy at the Coos Bay Wal-Mart will cut their hours in half.

Even pharmacy patrons say they aren't too happy.

Medical Center officials say they had nothing to do with Wal-Mart's decision, the superstore giant simply chose not to renew their lease.

Right now North Bend Medical Center is looking for other options for the new year.
