NORTH BEND, Ore. - The popular Music on the Bay concert series wraps up Tuesday, with a special benefit concert at the Mill Casino Hotel.

The fifth and final concert featured the Mel Brown Trio and Liv Warfield.

Brown, a former Motown drummer, has toured with the likes of the Temptations, Smokey Robinson and Diana Ross.

This concert also served as an opportunity for Music on the Bay organizers to update concertgoers on the status of their ongoing fundraising for a permanent roof over the Mingus Park stage.

The group needs around $18,000 more for the estimated $100,000 roof project.

They have received grants from the Ford Family Foundation and Oregon Community Foundation and are relying heavily on community donations.
