Local concert series kicks off with toe-tapping, foot-stomping performance

COOS BAY, Ore. - Kicking off another great concert series on the South Coast, a group from Virginia got the crowd going at Marshfield Auditorium on Sunday.

Group Piannafiddle headlined the opening of the season for the Coos County Community Concert Series.

The duo, who are based on the East Coast, play a variety of bluegrass, jazz, classical and blues.

Other performances during the season include the Eugene Ballet Company's "Swan Lake," the Claremont Trio and jazz vocalist Rachael Price.

Season tickets are still available, they are $55 for adults and $35 for students.
