Myrtle Point - As the rainy season kicks into full swing, you can block out the gray by turning your focus to Fair season.

No, it's not too early to start thinking about the Coos County Fair and Rodeo. In fact, Fair officials are encouraging it.

The Fair Board is asking for people to submit their Fair themes and Grand Marshall suggestions now for the Fair that will run from July 24th through the 28th.

Fair themes will be decided at their December meeting, so they ask that you get your ideas into the Fair Office no later then December 10th.

Grand Marshall suggestions should include a name and a statement of why you feel they should be considered, and both can be turned into the Coos County Fair Office by mail, e-mail or fax.
