NORTH BEND, Ore. -Another crowning achievement for the Jubilee Princesses, as the City of North Bend unveils the next court for the 106 annual July Jubilee.

During a special coronation ceremony on Tuesday, the retired princesses helped inaugurate the four fellow classmates, with a sash, crown and bouquet.

The new princess include, Anna Brecheisen, Yuri Hernandez, Mallory Crocker and Caitlin Snuggerud.

This years theme coincides with Oregon's 150 birthday and as a special tribute, North Bend City Officials are making a time capsule to fill and seal at the July Jubilee event, to be opened during Oregon's bicentennial, 50 years later.

City Recorder Joann Thompson says they're also accepting small items from community members to add to the capsule, that has a sentimental value to them.

"Something special in memory of of North Bend," says Thompson. "Anything that the mayor can open 50 years from now and kind of get a snap shot in time of what we're doing right now."

Items can be dropped off at Thompson's office at North Bend City Hall.

Meanwhile, the July Jubilee will run July 17-19, with Mayor Rick Wetherell expected to seal up the capsule that Friday, July 17, at the North Bend Public Library.
