Indoor Crafters move to new location

COOS BAY, Ore. - Making the best out of their location, a local indoor crafters group moves their store for the third time in two years, but hopes it won't affect business.
A store-front in the Hub Building in Downtown Coos Bay is the new home of the Indoor Crafters, formerly known as the Indoor Crafters Guild. The group, who sells everything hand-made, moved to this location from their shop in the Chandler Building two weeks ago, due to structural problems with the building. "We didn't know where to go, and the farmers market had just started and we struggled through the winter and fortunately the owner of this building was kind enough to let us lease it for the five months of the market. We do everything by hand all of us, and it sits and we wait for our customers," says crafter Hazel Kelsey. Kelsey adds that people are slowly starting to learn about their new location. But she hopes business will soon pick up. The Indoor Crafters store is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. They're located at 145 South Broadway, next to Kaffe 101. |
