NORTH BEND, Ore. -When it comes to creating laughter, one long time Comedian assures us work with what you know. And for Louie Anderson, the humor found in family dynamics, never goes out of style.

Anderson got his start as a stand-up comedian nearly 30 years ago. And since then, has written a few books about his family, made a cartoon series, "Life with Louie," which was about him and his family and of course, hosted the Family Feud Game Show.

Just one of eleven children in his household, Anderson says he knows family. We caught up with him, before his stint at the Mill Casino Hotel on Friday night, where he told KCBY News that no matter what the trends are at the time, everyone can relate to a "Family Show."

"As you know, I've continued to be a clean comic and so maybe some of that landscape has changed out there for comedy but I find the same amount of people want to hear a clean show as they did before," said Anderson. "So it's refreshing."

But Anderson says new jokes are being written all the time, especially the material he got just traveling to the coast. He adds that he's currently working on a one-man, interactive show, similar to Billy Crystal's 700 Sundays. But for now, you can find him at the Excalibur in Vegas, performing, "Louie... Larger than Life."
