BLACHLY, Ore. -- Firefighters pulled two people from the mangled wreckage of a Subaru Legacy early Friday morning, and two other people were thrown from the car in the crash.

Officers later arrested one of the injured passengers on an unrelated warrant.

All four people in the car are from the Deadwood area.

Around 3 a.m. Friday, the 1993 Subaru Legacy driven by Kevin. C. Raymond, 33, was westbound on Highway 36 east of Blachly, Ore., when the car left the road and hit a tree.

Two passengers, Jubal Johnson, 30, and Christina Flora, 22, were ejected from the car and received minor injuries.

Raymond and the front passenger, Mary Gibney, 33, were trapped in the car and seriously injured. Paramedics were pulling the two from the wreckage as Oregon State Police troopers arrived on scene.

All four people were taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in Springfield, Ore.

Johnson was treated and released. Police arrested him on an outstanding Linn County warrant.

The other three occupants remained at the hospital, state police said.

OSP troopers from the Springfield Area Command office are continuing the investigation. Lane Rural Fire and Rescue personnel and ODOT assisted at the scene.
