NORTH BEND, Ore. -Long after they've Donned the brown and gold gowns, former North Bend Alumni continue to give back to their school and community. And for that, five more individuals were inducted into its Hall of Fame on Friday.

Selected out of a list of more than 60 candidates, the Hall of Fame Committee recognized, George Gebhart, Cliff Saxton, James Ulum, Rick Wetherell and Tom Younker, as their five outstanding individuals this year.

Graduate of North Bend High and KCBY News Anchor, David Walker assisted as M.C. for the night, as each nominee shared a brief story about their life as a Bulldog and there after.

And at 93 years old, Gebhart recounted a long list of jobs that included everything from serving in the military, to working as an engineer, then food and beverage and finally real estate. Proving you don't have to have it all figured out in high school.

"And I hope that some of you going people who worry about what you're going to do when you get out of high school, you can do any one of 50 things that's out there, if you just look for it and put your mind to it," said Gebhart.

In it's 10th year, this is the longest running event of it's kind, here on the South Coast.
