COOS BAY, Ore. -Oregon's Adventure Coast online, is working hard to entice visitors to the Coos Bay/North Bend area.  And now, they're looking for more local businesses to help sweeten the pot.

This past year, more than 2,300 coupon books were distributed online, to guests booking hotels here on the South Coast.  Initiated by the Director of Promotions and Conventions Bureau, Katherine Hoppe, local businesses offered discounts to tourists.  And this year, Hoppe is looking for even more participation.

"Not every visitor uses every coupon, so business don't have to worry about being inundated, but it's a great way to get your name out there and also to offer the visitor a chance to come into your business," said Hoppe.

To save on printing costs, Hoppe is making this round of coupons valid for a total of 18-months, beginning the start of the year.

For businesses interested in participating, the cost is free, you only need to meet a few simple requirements.

"Our only stipulations are that you be a business that a visitor can take advantage of, that you're local to the Coos Bay, North Bend and Charleston area and that you be willing to give some type of discount offer and honor it throughout the 18 months."

Interested businesses can go online to www.oregonsadventurecoast.com for more details, although you better act fast, Hoppe says printing needs to be underway be the end of the Thanksgiving Holiday.
