NORTH BEND, Ore. -We've heard Santa has been having some trouble with the mail this holiday season, so once again, he and his local elves went to the phones, to talk to the boys and girls here on the South Coast.

Santa knows better than anyone that it's better to give than receive and helping him grant some wishes for the good children in the area, were members of the Tioga Chapter of the Oregon Hunters Association as well as Umpqua Bank in North Bend.

Santa Clause and his brother were both decked out in their jolly red suits and hats and checking their lists twice as they took calls form kids all ages, sharing their wish lists.

If you didn't get a chance to talk to Santa by phone Wednesday night, don't worry, he'll be back again next Thursday, December 10, for the Christmas Tree Lighting and Holiday Display at the North Bend Community Center, starting at a 5:45 pm.
