3 Food items gets you free coffee at Dutch Bros.
By Nicole Plascencia KCBY NewsCOOS BAY, Ore.- A one day food drive aimed at filling local food pantries, will give the opportunity to those donating food to get a free coffee, courtesy of Dutch Bros. Multimedia"You can have any drink on the menu for free if you bring us 3 cans of food... and we're going to try and hopefully have a record year," says Bay Area Dutch Bros. franchisee Brad Young. The food is being collected through Oregon Coast Community Action and is one of the largest single day food drives in the Bay Area. "In our nation, 1 in every 8 people is going hungry everyday and about 30% of those people are children, so we know how important events like Dutch Luv can be to feed more people in our community who are really relying on a food box for the first time," says Hallie Winchell with Oregon Coast Community Action. Again, Sunday, February 14Th you can take three food items to any of the 3 Dutch Bros. locations in Coos Bay/North Bend and get yourself a free drink. |
