Police charge NB man with rape
By Erica Rush, KCBY NewsNORTH BEND, Ore. -A North Bend man is taken into custody Wednesday, March 17, after police link him to two sex related crimes from earlier in the morning. According to the North Bend Police Department, Kenneth Dexter Stillwell , 24, entered the residents of two separate victims between the hours of 1-4 am on Wednesday. Information obtained at the scenes indicates that Stillwell entered the home of a 25 year old female resident on Oak St., where he's facing charges of Abuse and attempted Rape. Further information revealed that in the same night, he forced sexual contact with a 22 year old female resident at the Inland Drive Apartments, where he's facing multiple charges, including, Rape, Sodomy, Assault and Strangulation, as well as Burglary and Criminal Trespass. The victims were both person known by Stillwell. Officers located Stillwell at his residence and he was taken into custody without incident. He currently resides in Coos County Jail. |
