COOS BAY, ORE - The delay in the permit process for the Coos Bay LNG Terminal has Arnie Roblan looking for answers, and wondering if a secret meeting between FERC officials and anti-LNG groups had anything to do with it.

The State Representative from Coos Bay issued a release saying he has launched an investigation into that meeting, which he says also included an Oregon Department of Justice attorney who recently left under a cloud of suspicion on an unrelated case.

Roblan says he wants to know if there was any undue influence forced on FERC to delay the Jordan Cove Energy project, adding that there are people here ready to go to work on the jobs promised by this new terminal.

Specifically, he says he is asking Federal officials to provide information on a meeting, or series of meetings, held last June in Washington D.C.

Through the Freedom of Information Act, he is asking for the names of those who attended, either in person or by phone, who authorized the meeting, the agenda, and whether anyone there was claiming to act on behalf of the State of Oregon.

Roblan added, "whether you support or oppose the construction of the terminal, it's important we all feel like we were treated fairly."
