New play at LTOB features music of Patsy Cline

North Bend - A story of a life-long friendship set to the music of one of Country music's most popular crooners, is set to hit the stage as the first production of the 60Th season at one of the Bay Area's most respected theater's.

'Always Patsy Cline' will open it's first show this Friday night at Little Theatre on the Bay, featuring local actress Doris Smith as Patsy and Pam de Jong as her best friend Loise Seger.

Following the story of friendship between the two women, the play features a number of Cline's hits including, 'I Fall to Pieces,' and, 'Back in Baby's Arms.'

Director Donald Williston says that he always wanted to bring this play to LTOB.

"It's just a delightful story. I read the play and it made me laugh and cry, it just makes you feel good and it's got great music."

'Always Patsy Cline' will open this Friday, and run for four weekends through October.

Shows are held every Friday and Saturday night at 8:00 pm with matinee performances on Sunday's at 2:00 pm.

Tickets are $12 with advance purchase discounts for seniors, students, and children.
