Police: 11 lbs of meth hidden in car

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. - Police found 11 pounds of meth and a pound of cocaine concealed inside a car from California last week during a traffic stop on Interstate 5.

The incident happend July 20. The bust wasn't made public until Tuesday, July 27, to give police an opportunity for further investigation, state police said.

On July 20, an Oregon State Trooper based out of Springfield stopped a 1998 Honda Accord with California plates for a lane change violation on Interstate 5 northbound near Eugene.

A drug dog discovered the quarter million dollar's worth of meth and coke concealed inside the vehicle.

The trooper arrested Ramon Juan Pulido, 31, of Visalia, Calif., on charges of Unlawful Possession and Distribution of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine and Unlawful Possession and Distribution of a Controlled Substance - Cocaine.
