Bandon man charged with sex abuse of girl under 10
COOS BAY, Ore. - A man sexually abused a girl under the age of 10, the Coos County Sheriff's Office said.
Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Bay Area Hospital to a report of a possible sex abuse victim in their emergency room on Sunday evening.
The victim is a female under the age of 10 from the Coos Bay/North Bend area.
Deputies arrested Steven Ray Perkins of Bandon on charges of sex abuse, sodomy and luring a minor.
Perkins, 28, was booked into the Coos County Jail on $775,000 bail.
He is expected to be in court Monday, Oct. 22, at 1:30 p.m.
