DA: Bandon man to plead guilty to sex crimes with children

COQUILLE, Ore.-- After nearly six months of pre-trial hearings and maintaining his innocence, Stephen Perkins is heading to prison.
According to court documents, Perkins is accused of sexually molesting four children under the age of 10 last year.
Coos County District Attorney Paul Frasier and one of Perkins' attorneys tell KCBY News that he will plead guilty and be sentenced this morning as part of a plea deal.
"I think he saw the evidence and realized that he'd be worse off if he went to trial," Frasier said.
Despite making motions and holding competency hearings to see if the young alleged victims could take the stand, none of the evidence against Perkins was thrown out, Frasier said.
This is a developing story, and we will have more details after Perkins is sentenced Tuesday morning at the Coos County Courthouse in Coquille. Stay this Web site and our TV affiliates for updates.
Capital punishment should be allowed for sex offenders and murderers...

It looks like jailbirds are being given nursing scrubs to wear instead of stripped suits. Ladies, lets go back to wearing white dresses and stockings.
Does coos county have the death penalty? I'm pretty sure we should hang him. Just saying.....
Take him out back and shoot him. There's no place in this world for those people. And unfortunately there's no room in our jails for them either, so he'll be back out on the streets soon enough so stalk kids and do it all over again. :(
