Crews use Jaws of Life to remove injured woman from car
COOS BAY, Ore. -- An injury accident on Ocean Boulevard in Coos Bay had traffic down to one lane in both directions.
Officials at the scene say a car collided with a postal service vehicle just before 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
Crews had to use the Jaws of Life to get one driver out of the Ford Focus.
Emergency crews say both drivers were injured and will be taken to Bay Area Hospital.
Postal workers are on the scene transferring mail out of the damaged vehicle.
This is a developing story, and will be updated.
wow
I drove by this. How scary!!!! It was right next to alder acres and the Fran's bakery outlet. We saw the ambulance pull away.
This was a scary place to pull out of or in to! Just because 40 mph seems to mean go 55 + I am not sure how many accidents have been right about here but at least one has resulted in death. In the time we live in the park area I know of at least 5 bad accidents there.
