ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A garage fire destroyed three vehicles, a tree and part of a home north of Roseburg Saturday night.
Fire crews were called out to the house on Kirby St. just before 6 p.m. Saturday to find the garage, cars and tree already on fire.
After making sure everyone made it out of the home, Firefighters from the Roseburg City Fire Department extinguished the blaze in almost 15 minutes.
Battalion Chief Steve Brewer said the two pickup trucks and car parked in the driveway were completely destroyed, while the home was only about 30 percent damaged.
Crews stayed after for nearly two hours to mop up the fire and investigate what started the fire.
The fire marshal is still determining what caused the fire.
Chief Brewer said firefighters managed to save some of the family's valuables and photographs from inside the house.
