Gun rights group hold south coast rally
COOS BAY, Ore. -- South coast second amendment supporters gathered at the Coos Bay boardwalk over the weekend, to express their concerns with new federal gun laws.
The group called 'Coos Bay Gun Rights' says elected officials are taking advantage of people's feelings after the shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, to push a radical agenda that violates their constitutional rights.
Many say they feel their voices aren't being heard and that now is the time to get involved in local, state and national politics.
Many at the rally said they believe guns are not the problem, but a lack of mental health care and proper background checks are to blame.
for you pin heads that say "guns kill "Â i suppose that you believe that your fork made you FAT!!!!!!! we are living among a generation that don't take responsibility for their actions and because of this we are losing our freedoms !!!!! GUNS DON'T KILL, PEOPLE KILL !!!!!
