Randall Leroy Harless (above) died from "homicidal violence," the district attorney said.

COOS BAY, Ore. - A man found dying in his driveway Saturday night suffered multiple blows to his head and stab wounds to his body, according to an autopsy completed Tuesday.

The man died later at the hospital. Authorities are still looking for his killer.

Randall Leroy Harless, 55, died from traumatic brain injury caused by blunt force trauma, the autopsy found. The blows caused several skull fractures.

Harless also suffered multiple stab wounds in his side and shoulder, including one to his lung and one to his liver.

"While the stab wounds were serious and potentially fatal, the direct and immediate cause of death of Mr. Harless was the blunt force trauma directed to his head," said Paul Frasier, Coos County District Attorney.

The case remains under investigation. No arrests have been made in the case.

Anyone who has information about the case is encouraged to contact the Coos Bay Police Department.
