COOS COUNTY, Ore. -- A man who injured a state trooper during a high speed chase and crash in North Bend last year is headed to prison.

According to court documents, Stephen Schuster will spend 50 months in prison, after pleading guilty to multiple charges related to the chase.

The incident closed Highway 101 at the McCullough Bridge on December 3.

After prison, Schuster will have to serve 36 months post-prison supervision.

He is no longer permitted to operate a motor vehicle for the rest of his life.
