In this Saturday, June 29, 2013 photo, chef Gregory Gourdet of Portland, Ore., restaurant Departure fires a .20-gauge shotgun during firearms training near Canby, Ore. Recently, some of Portland's top chefs received training in the use of shotguns, muzzleloaders and archery gear at a 30-acre farm owned by Nicky USA, which sells and butchers game animals raised on the farm for chefs across the country. Most of the chefs have never fired a gun before. Nicky USA says the point is for the chefs to "learn more about how to hunt for the food they cook." (AP Photo/Nigel Duara)
