Police seek Coos Bay man's killer

COOS BAY, Ore. - A man found injured in his driveway Saturday night later died at the hospital, the victim of homicidal violence, the district attorney said.

Randall Leroy Harless, 55, was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Bay Area Hospital.

An autopsy was scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.

Police gathered a witness description of the assailant as a man about 5-foot-10 to 6-feet tall, 180 to 200 pounds. He may have been carrying a backpack.
