Police seek others involved in Coquille grow-op

COQUILLE, Ore. -- Police said that they are looking for more suspects linked to a grow operation bust in Coquille earlier this month that put two teens behind bars.

Near the end of January, police served a search warrant at 434 w 5th Street and found 33 marijuana plants in their Coquille home on Jan. 27.

Officers arrested Jessica Krane and Kyle Hollett, both 19 of Coquille, and booked them at the Coos County Jail for delivery, manufacture and possession of a controlled substance, Marijuana.

Coquille officials seized 33 marijuana plants and processed pot with a total street value of around $40,000. They said that there were other drugs found inside the house during the raid as well.

Police Chief Janice Blue said that she believes more people were involved in the operation.

"It was a few pounds of the processed marijuana (and) 33 plants. So pretty much every room of the house either had paraphernalia, methamphetamine, marijuana plants, and so the whole house was used as a grow," said Blue.

So far, only Krane and Hollett were charged in the case.
