NORTH BEND, Ore. -- Thousands of Duck and Beaver fans will soon be heading for Arizona and Texas for college football bowl games.
A lot of those fans are from Coos County.
Travel agents are busy putting packages together for fans who will be following their teams to the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Ariz., and the Alamo Bowl in San Antonio, Tex.
Globe Travel in North Bend has already set up 22 people with airfare, hotels, and transportation to the Oregon game against Kansas State.
Travel agent, Helen Brunell Mineau, says transportation to the game is the most important.
"That's probably the big key feature. That's the thing that can take the most time, cause you the most grief, because if you get lost or realize you have to walk quite a distance to get there, those kinds of details can kind of ruin your whole day," Brunell said.
She adds that most packages cost around $2,500 for a five day trip, for two people, including tickets to the game.
